We are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join our team in Cape Town, supporting our UK operations.

Role overview

As a Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering full-mix marketing services to our clients in the recruitment industry. You will work collaboratively with UK-based colleagues, taking briefs and executing marketing strategies across various channels. You will support multiple businesses, ensuring a diverse workload and variety to your working day – so the ability to manage your time and multiple, competing priorities will be important.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement email marketing and/or social media campaigns
  • Create engaging content for various platforms
  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Execute digital marketing initiatives
  • Perform intermediate design tasks for marketing materials
  • Collaborate with UK-based team members on client projects
  • Support internal portfolio clients and external recruitment companies
  • Take and interpret marketing briefs from clients and colleagues
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports
  • Managing diverse tasks through online project management system.

Required qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing with UK organisations (desirable, but not essential for this experience to be in the recruitment or professional services sector)
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp)
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills
  • Experience with campaign planning and management
  • Intermediate design skills (e.g. Canva)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong time management, project management, and organisational skills.
  • We require individuals to have an excellent understanding of the English language, both written and verbal.

Preferred qualifications and experience

  • Knowledge of the recruitment and staffing industry
  • Familiarity with marketing and automation tools
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience with AI (ChatGPT, Claude, CoPilot, etc.)

Work environment

The role is an office-based position in Century City, Cape Town. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with a UK-based team, which may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate time zone differences.

Working hours: 40 hours per week between 09:00 and 19:00 depending on time differences with the UK.
